Q. Zimbabwe currency, why am I not able to convert to US dollars at the bank?A.
Zimbabwe demonetized their currency in 2016; those notes are now only valuable as collectibles. For several years, the country had no official currency but rather used several international currencies including the South African Rand and the US Dollar. In June 2019, the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe abolished the multiple-currency system and replaced it with a new Zimbabwe dollar (the RTGS Dollar). Because of this confusion and instability, SafeDinar has chosen not to exchange the Zimbabwe currency.
