Iraqi Deputy Minister of Finance announced , Safaa al-Deen al-Safi announced on Tuesday,his country's determination to buy more gold in the coming months to support investment plans.
The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) may buy more gold in the coming months based on the investment needs , Safi said in a press statement on the sidelines of a meeting of Arab finance ministers in Tunisia.
CBI had announced last Thursday in a press release that its gold reserves is amounted to 90 tons after it has bought 60 tons during the past two months.
