Iraq: Insurgent Group Says It Bombed Bank

The Islamic State of Iraq, an insurgent group, claimed responsibility on Wednesday for bombing a state-run investment bank. The attack on the Trade Bank of Iraq on Sunday killed at least 18 people. The Islamic State of Iraq, an umbrella group that includes Al Qaeda in Mesopotamia, had also claimed responsibility for an attack last week on the Central Bank of Iraq.
